I am currently about 3/4 through my enlistment with the Marines. I have learned many things while in the Core, one being, "Always know/or do more than what's expected of you". With that said, my job title is a "Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Enlisted Planner". I won't go into details what a MAGTF Planner does, all I will say is that it deals with the movement of logistical and force flow requirements, while being under various time and transportation restraints/directives.

As well as my duties as a MAGTF Planner, I have been filling the shoes of a Unix System Administrator, Unix Security Manager, Web site development manager, Global Command and Control System Chief/Operator, a Tactical Combat Operations Operator, and (of course) a janitor.

On Sept 26th 1999, I will be leaving the military and looking for a new job. If you are interested in hiring me, or just want to know a little more about me, you can email me at the address that I have provided on this page or contact me via snail mail @:

Me in Kuwait, Dec 19 1997.

My full name is Timothy Scott Bell. I was born in Bellflower, California on July Thirteenth 1976. (Yes, that would make me 21.) I have lived in Southern California all my life, and I wouldn't live anywhere else (that's a lie).

A few years ago (fed up with college and broke) I decided to join the United States Marine Corps. It turned out to be the best and worst thing I ever did in my life. One word of advice, (actually several) the core is not for everyone, especially for a "data dink" like myself.

I often think of myself as a very lucky person. If not lucky, at least continent with my life. I can't recall anything really overbearing in my life to force me into a bad mood for too long. I have almost given up searching for the meaning of life, and feel that I know myself quite well. Rarely being bogged down with ponderings of "why me", I aim to make my life as pleasant as it possibly can.
